We are learning to use clues in the story to help our understanding. Our Buzzy Bees group read Olly’s New Bike written by Melissa Leighton and illustrated by Donovan Bixley. Here is what I think the message of the story is. 1. List 3 the things that were wrong with Olly’s bike his bike was old and broken 2. What did Olly have to do in return for Mohammed fixing his bike? looking after his son and giving muffins 3. Explain one idea why couldn’t Korfa make any new friends? because there was know kids
