You don't know me yet, but I am Mark, a teacher working for the Summer Learning Journey that you signed up for at the end of term.
I'm just going through all the students who signed up and trying to get you all to join in! Over 100 students have started our programme and are really enjoying the activities we have designed for them. I'm hoping you'll join in too, as I think you in particular will benefit from this instead of hitting the Mortal Kombat all summer haha!
The SLJ is all about travel and learining about different cultures and I think you'll find it really interesting. There are loads of different activities, challenging questions, and things to do, and if you comment on your classmates blogs you get extra points as well. It is also probably important for me to tell you that you can start whenever you like, and choose whichever activities you want to do!
I hope to see you online soon, but if not then I hope you enjoy your summer and keep up with your reading at least. Some good books you might like that are similar to your Mortal Kombat games are the Assissins Creed books which are based on the video game. They're by Oliver Brown and he's a pretty good writer.
